Have a heart

More on this love theme, the World Gold Council, together with the SNDT Women's University has launched the Serenade Collection, a range of gold jewellery for Valentine's Day. Based on designs created by students of SNDT's Jewellery Design and Manufacture Department, the collection has all kinds of gold rings, earrings and pendants based on romantic themes. Hearts, flowers and even the Titanic have been incorporated into these designs -- one of them, a heart-shaped locket opens up to uncover another perfumed heart and even a perfume-dispenser. The creations are showcased in a blue pyramid-shaped box, also conceptualised by the students. The collection is priced in the range of Rs 2,500 to Rs 5,000 and isavailable at 20 outlets all around the city.

Gift stuff

This one's for those who're looking for a present to gift their beaus on Valentine's Day. Kuntal Shroff and Mamta Mehta are holding an exhibition of desk accessories which are ideal pick-up gifts. The items on display include desk clocks, post-it holders, notepad holders, pen stands with pens, paperweights, paper cutters and business card holders. The prices range between Rs 250 and Rs 2,500.

Scent of a man

Think about this one. Cartier has launched a special perfume for `A Man In Love'. Curiously named `Declaration', this exotic fragrance boasts ingredients ranging from Russian birchwood, Italian bergamot and bitter oranges from the Ivory coast to wormwood from Morocco, cardamom from Guatemala, Cedarwood from Virginia, vetiver from Haiti and oak moss.

You can even send a message to your beloved on the Cartier love card which will be delivered to him/her on Valentine's day with a bouquet of flowers. Have a heart, go get it!

Caribbean flavour

The Bombay Store has given itself a Caribbean look for Valentine week, complete with coconut trees, beach effects and reggae music. Also on offer is special Valentine Merchandise and some exciting gifts and prizes are up for grabs with contests like `Best dressed couple, Oldest couple, Most Caribbean-looking pair, Best valentine message, Couples who know each other' and many more.
