Maharashtra dominate Trampoline Nats

CHANDIGARH, Feb 12: Maharashtra dominated the seventh National trampoline championships, which concluded here today. They won team championships in trampoline and tumbling in both the men's and women's sections.

In synchronized trampoline pairs, Chandigarh girls Yojana and Seeta Rawat won the gold medal. Similarly the gold among men went to the Chandigarh duo of Gurdishpal Singh and Rakesh Kumar.

Results
Men: Team championships: Trampoline: 1 Maharashtra 14.70 pts, 2 Kerala 12.60 pts, 3 Delhi 12.30 pts. Tumbling: 1 Maharashtra 18.05 pts, 2 Kerala 16.15 pts, 3 Indo Tibet Border Police 16.10 pts. Individual: Trampoline: 1 Satish (Mah), 2 Pankaj Kumar (Pun), 3 Rajinder (Del). Tumbling: 1 Satish (Mah), 2 Jayant Verma (MP) and D Mandal (ITBP), 3 Sreevag K (Ker) and Himanshu (Guj). Synchronized trampoline pair: 1 Gurdishpal and Rakesh Kumar (Chd), 2 Bhupinder Singh and Somnath Das (ITBP), 3 Tejas Sharma and Tejas Patel (Guj).

Women: Team championships: Trampoline: 1 Maharashtra 17.70 pts, 2 Chandigarh 15.35 pts, 3 Gujarat 13.70 pts. Tumbling: 1 Maharashtra 14.40 pts, 2 Rajasthan 13.45 pts, 3 Chandigarh 13 pts. Individual: Trampoline: 1 Neha (Mah), 2 Yojama (Chd) and Solanki (Guj), 3 Kalyani and Sarvari (Mah). Synchronized trampoline pair: 1 Yojana and Seeta Rawat (Chd), 2 Saloni and Kajor (Guj), 3 Nidhi and Garima (Raj).

Debriefing session
National Adventure Club will organise the `Debriefing session' by awardees of Bharat Gaurav Puruskar and Adamya Sahas Puruskra at the Punjab University Law Auditorium tomorrow at 11 a.m according to a press release. Meanwhile, the closing ceremony of the National Adventure Festival will be held at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium on February 14 at 11 a.m.
