Shiv Sena drops revamp plan

Pradip Kumar Maitra
NAGPUR, Feb 14: The Shiv Sena has decided not to change the main office-bearers of the Nagpur unit, despite discontentment among the rank and file over the local leadership, for fear of further embarrassment.

This was indicated by senior party leader Subhash Desai on Friday. Desai, who came here this morning, held a series of meetings with workers, along with party leaders Jaiprakash Wasiskar and Kiran Wadivkar, to resolve woes on leadership. These leaders were sent to Nagpur by Bal Thackeray, to settle the dispute over reshuffle of the organisation in Nagpur district a few months ago.
