Baby drowns in Ulsoor lake

BANGALORE, Feb 19: In a freak accident, a five-month-old baby drowned in Ulsoor lake after she slipped from her mother's arms. Police said Prabhavathi, a resident of Gaddekannur in Kolar district, along with her two children visited Ulsoor lake after shopping in the City. Prabhavathi, with Putti in her arms, was standing beside the wall bordering the lake. The baby fell into the lake when Prabhavathi tired to remove milk bottle from her bags.
