MOGA, FEB 19: Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president G S Tohra has convened a meeting of his supporters at Fatehgarh Sahib on February 21 to take stock of the situation following the "crisis" in the Akali Dal.The meeting will chalk out a strategy in view of the no-trust move initiated against Tohra by loyalists of Chief Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal Chief Parkash Singh Badal for which a general house will be convened as stated by Dal secretary Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa on February 15 at Amritsar, a Tohra confidant said here today.
Ten SGPC members loyal to Badal had appealed to the Sikh Gurdwara Judicial Commission seeking Tohra's suspension. The commission had adjourned hearing on all petitions till February 25.
