Sensex falls 51 points
MUMBAI, Feb 22: Share values reacted sharply on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today on emergence of selling pressure coupled with lack of buying support from institutional investors. Sensex fell by 51 points.On the National Stock Exchange (NSE),pivotals turned weak on emergence of heavy selling by FIIs leading to fall in the Nifty index by 22.45 points. The market displayed a total turnover of Rs 2019.29 crore.At the exchange, 294 securities advanced, 790 declined and 87 held steady. 125 securities had hit their price bands.
