Four dacoits shot dead in police encounter

HYDERABAD, Feb 23: Four armed dacoits were shot dead by Shamshabad police on February 23 night when they tried to loot valuables from the inmates of a farm house located on Narakudi village outskirts on the Bangalore Highway. The bodies of the gangsters, all in their mid twenties are yet to be identified. However, preliminary investgations suggest that they were dossier criminals and might have belonged to the neighbouring Mahboobnagar district.
