Gurpreet Sarin's unbeaten 22, two catches and two run outs featured GE Capital's six-wicket win over NTPC in the semi-final of the sixth Teri Cup tournament at Nahar Singh Stadium (Faridabad).Abhirup (33) and Rahul Dixit (30 not out) were the main contributors for the winners while for NTPC Subba Rao scored 48.

Gurmeet Singh (39) and S Bradoo (27) were the top scorers for Radisson while for Taj Mahal Hotel Mohit Bhalla (27) was the principal contributor. Gurmeet Singh was adjudged man of the match.

Haryana Police won the 17th Haryana state basketball championship beating Jhajjar 74-66 Nehru Stadium, Gurgaon. Krishan (24), Manoj Kumar (20) and Jaswant (12) were the main tontributors for the winners while BS Hooda (20) and Manoj (14) scored for the losers.
In the women's section, Bhiwani clinched the title outplaying Jind 48-30.
Title for Lintas
Quickfire knocks by Sriniwas (49 off 23 balls) and Trivikram (46 off 27 balls) helped Lintas lift the Medi Transasia League Cup beating Mecann by six wickets at Garge College ground.
Sriniwas (Lintas) was adjudged best all-rounder and man of the match of the tournament while Jetender (Mecan) got best batsman award and Rajul best wicketkeeper.

CPSU athletics
National Hydroelectric Power Corporationa will organise the second Inter-central Power Sector Undertakings athletic meet under the aegis of Power Sports Control Board on February 24 and 25 at National Stadium.
About 100 athletes are expected to participate in this tourney. Six teams including NHPC, Bhakra Beas Management Board, NTPC, Damodar Valley Corporation, Central Electricity Authority, Ministry of Power will participate. Women teams of NHPC, Ministry of Power and CEA will also take part in the meet.
Jatha leads
Amish Jaitha of Punjab led the field with a six under par 66 on the opening day of the Northern India Amateur Golf Championship at the Delhi Golf Club here.
Due to foggy condition, the tee off was delayed. As many as 122 top amateurs of Indian golf are participating to prove their mettle.
Top amateur Harmeet Kahlon of Chandigarh was in second place with 71 while Simarjeet Singh shot 73 to be in the third place.
Among other well know amateurs, Amit Luthra of Delhi was in seventh position with 75 while another player who represented the country in the Bangkok Asiad, Digvijay Singh of Meerut, was lower down with a card of 78.
