Two best revenue paying units awarded

CHANDIGARH, Feb 24: Two best revenue paying units - Ranbaxy Labs Limited, Paonta Sahib and Punjab Anand Lamps, Mohali, were honoured by S.S. Jha, Commissioner Central Excise on the occasion of Annual Central Excise Day today. Emphasis was laid on regular Central Excise duty payments by the assessees for steady and uninterrupted growth of the economy by S.S. Jha and Additional Commissioner Central Excise Chandigarh I.R. Soni, who addressed the gathering of members of the staff at Central Excise Headquarters Office building in Sector 17.Special trophies were awarded to the two best revenue paying units for progressively increasing their revenue payments over the past few years.
