Sri Lanka skipper Arjuna Ranatunga's cricket museum is getting ready for inauguration. The museum has a collection of cricket memorabilia, including autographed bats, gloves, pads and other gear of former Test cricketers.The equipment will be auctioned whenever a player is in a financial crisis.

Lucky room-mate

India opener VVS Laxman may be having a nightmare in the field, flooring catches. But he seems to bring luck to his room-mates. Laxman shared room with Anil Kumble during the Delhi Test and the leg-spinner achieved the historic feat of taking all 10 wickets in the second innings. In Colombo, Laxman and fellow-opener Ramesh are room-mates. Ramesh scored his maiden Test century here. Kumble, as vice-captain, is entitled to a separate room. -- NJD
