Two arrested in rape case
The City police have arrested Rudal Ali and his son, Raja Hussain, both residents of Jawar Bhansa village in Kassinagar district of Uttar Pradesh, on the charges of kidnapping a city resident and raping her. The two had reportedly raped the woman, a resident of Colony Number 4, in November last year, after detaining her illegally.

CTU bus hits car
Ram Lakha, a resident of Sector 22, reported to the police that his car was hit by a CTU bus driven by Mohinder Singh, a resident of Sector 41, near the roundabout dividing Sectors 16, 17, 22 and 23. The police have registered a case.

Man assaulted
Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Sector 40, reported to the police that he was assaulted and threatened by Des Raj Rana, Joginder Singh, Karam Singh and Chittu Ram, all residents of Maloya village. A case has been registered.
