Marriage pandal catches fire
A marriage pandal caught fire on Monday morning at Surajmal Park in Anand Vihar. No one was hurt. According to the police, the shamiana was going to be taken down as soon as the marriage season was over. On Sunday night, the owners of the tent-company had their own get-together for Holi. No one is sure about the exact cause of the fire.

Fire accident
Saroj, a 19-year-old girl suffered burn injuries after her clothes caught fire. She had been cooking at the time in her New Ashok Nagar house on Monday. According to police, she was immediately hospitalised by husband Vijay Singh. She is said to have suffered 50 per cent burns.
