Zavaray S Poonawalla, the man behind the project and who had successfully translated the ideas into reality, had a short get-together with the writers, both foreign and local, trainers, officials of the RWITC and press representatives.

With one voice, the riders praised and felt satisfied with the consistency and responsive underfoot conditions. It was revealed it is less risky for both the rider and runner.

The all-weather race track was designed by Steve Wood of Track Master Inc., America.

Most of the events were claimed by the front-runners who had taken commanding positions 400 mts before home. The last race did help the back marker Northern Supreme to come from behind and catch the judges eye first. It is felt that with more experience and regularising the system of watering either before or during the events will certainly help all concerned. In a to-and-fro battle, over 400 mts. between El Cid and Thunder Struck and finally the former prevailed.
