Bihar impasse cripples both houses; RLM leads charge
A determined Opposition led by members of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Morcha (RLM) stalled proceedings in the two Houses of Parliament even as the ruling coalition continued with its exercise of `exploring all options' on the Bihar issue.

A sitting judge of the Madras HC, Justice C Shivappa has been found working beyond the retirement age and advised by the Union Government that he had attained the age of superannuation on December 11, 1998, itself.
Banks to lose as HC strikes off round interest figures
In an order that is going to make the Union of India rich at the expense of nationalised banks, the Karnataka HC last month struck down the action of banks which have been rounding up interest on term loans to the next higher 0.25% as illegal.
