Tohra's expulsion on cards
Expulsion of senior party leader and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee president Gurcharan Singh Tohra from the ruling Akali Dal is on the cards if the mood of the indignant party leadership after his outburst at Hola Mohalla yesterday, is any indication. A hint to this effect was given by party president and Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in Ludhiana today.Decision on Bihar deferred
The Union Cabinet today deferred a decision on the Bihar issue pending a proposal from the Home Ministry on various options before the government as the Presidential proclamation is unlikely to be ratified in the Rajya Sabha where the BJP-led coalition is in minority.
