Judicial officer `missing'

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
KHARAR, March 3: Mystery surrounds the reported disappearance of a civil judge posted at Roopnagar district. According to information available, the judicial officer is reported to be missing since Friday last. Police confirmed that a daily diary report (DDR) had been registered in this regard.

Confirming the disappearance, police disclosed that they were investigating the matter. However, no success has been achieved.

Meanwhile, in a separate case, a Punjab Civil Medical Services (PCMS) doctor is also reported to be missing. He was posted at a government dispensary in a village near here. He reportedly left for duty but did not reach the dispensary. S.A.S. Nagar Station House Officer (SHO) Avtar Singh, when contacted, confirmed the disappearance of Dr Cheema.
