VADODARA, March 4: Some of the young musicians of the country will take part in a two-day conference `Parampara' beginning Saturday at the Music College, opposite Sursagar. The conference has been organised jointly by Swarasmriti and Campus Diversity Programme of the MSU.The young musicians have been trained by artists of the ilks of Ravishankar, Bhimsen Joshi, Bismilla Khan, Shivkumar Sharma, Hariprasad Chaurasia and others.
Among those who would feature on Saturday and Sunday include Shrikant Deshpande, Satish and Suhas Vyas, Roopak Kulkarni and, Hemant Pendse.
