Crime beat -- Chandigarh

Assault case accused held
The police have arrested Navdeep SIngh alias Navi, who was allegedly wanted in a case of assault and threatening a person, under Sections 354, 326 and 506 of the Indian Penal code.

Car stolen
Sector 33 resident Ved Bansal has reported to the police that his Maruti car CH-01-M-0847 has been stolen from Sector 33. In a separate case, PU hostler Manu Arora has reported that his Kinetic Honda CH-01-C-8088 has been stolen from the hostel parking. Police have registered both the cases.

Theft in Ram Darbar
Ram Darbar resident Ashok Kumar has reported that some copper and brass items and Rs 10,000 has been stolen from his premises. police have registered a case.
