Three injured in separate road accidents

Chandigarh, March 7: Three persons were injured in separate road accidents during the past 24 hours here.

Police sources said a cyclist Satdev, a resident of Ottawa village, was hit by an unidentified vehicle on the road separating Sectors 43 and 44. While the vehicle sped away from the site, the injured was admitted to the PGI. The police have registered a case of causing hurt by rash and negligent driving.

In a separate incident, a Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) bus reportedly hit a scooterist, Gurdev Singh who is a resident of Sohana village. The accident occurred on the Sector 31 Labour Colony road.In yet another accident a pedestrian was hit by a scooter in Sector 26.
