TIET students begin strike today

PATIALA, MARCH 7: The students of Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology here have decided to start a two-day token strike from tomorrow against the indifferent attitude of the management of the institute towards the demands. Students leaders said here today that the management had started implementing their decisions arbitrarily and were in no mood to hear the demands of the students.The students will organise a rally at the main gate of the institute and then start a protest march to hand over a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner.
