VADODARA, MARCH 7: A free Ayurvedic Medical Camp is being organised tomorrow by the Kerala Ayurvadic Clinic in association with the Ashta Vaidyan Thaikkattu Mooss `Vaidyaratnam' Oushadhashala. Check ups will be provided by a team of experts led by Ashtavaidyan E T Neelkandhan Mooss. The focus will be on spondylitis, diabetes, obesity and muscular ailments.The camp will be held on the Kerala Ayurvedic Clinic premises opposite Tejas Vidyalaya on the Atmajyot Ashram Road in Ellora Park from 9.30 a.m. onwards. Mayor Bhartiben Vyas will inaugurate the day-long camp.
There are two Kerala Ayurvedic Clinics in Vadodara presently. A third, at Makarpura, was inaugurated by Ashtavaidyam Mooss today.
The Vaidyaratnam Oushadhashala was founded in 1940. Vaidyaratnam has its own nursing home, medicines, ayurvedic college and research center. Ashtavaidyam ETN Mooss has been awarded the `Swadeshi Jagran Puraskar' by Prime Minister A B Vajpayee in recognition of his work.
