Lion cub case hearing today
The Wildlife Wing of the Vadodara Circle of Social Forestry on Wednesday lodged a complaint under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 against the six accused for exhibiting an Asiatic lion cub at a farmhouse here. Official sources informed Express Newsline that a complaint had been lodged with the Chief Judicial Magistrate against the farmhouse owner Anupam Zaveri, his brother, Apollo circus owner Ranjan Babu and two of his staff and the transporter of the cub from Surat to Vadodara. The case hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

ST raids
Sleuths of the Sales Tax Department on Wednesday conducted raids at the premises of 12 wholesale dealers of gutkha in Lehripura, Mandvi, Khanderao Market, Sayajigunj and R C Dutt Road. The search was continuing till the time of going to the Press.

E-Com at Asset

The Software Training Institute of Fortune Infotech Ltd was recently inaugurated at Sayajigunj here by MS University Pro Vice Chancellor Dipak Kumar De. Fortune will conduct Oracle and Microsoft Certified training programmes.
