Three stolen vehicles recovered
The Makarpura police on Tuesday arrested one person and recovered a lifted Yamaha motorcycle and two scooters from him. According to police, Sarvansinh Chanchalsinh Jat, a resident of Gayatri Nagar in Makarpura, was caught with the motorcycle near Tarsali by-pass on a tip-off. A raid at his premises led to the recovery of two stolen scooters. During interrogation, Jat confessed that the vehicles had been stolen by his brother Satnamsinh. Satnamsinh is absconding. Jat, according to police, is also a habitual offender.

Stolen
Central Public Works Department has lodged a complaint with the J.P. Road police that fire-fighting equipment worth Rs. 2.84 lakh were stolen from its store in Central Excise colony at various points of time during the last five years. Investigations are on.
