22-yr-old stabbed
A 22-year-old woman was stabbed by her uncle at a DDA flat in Vikaspuri on Wednesday. Dolly Tandom, 22, went over to her aunt's place around 12.40 p.m. She found her aunt Kiran and uncle Purshottam, 50, quarelling. He was reportedly drunk and was threatening Kiran with a knife. Dolly interfered and Purshottam accidentally stabbed her. Dolly was rushed to DDU hospital. She sustained injuries in the stomach and is stated to be in stable condition. The police later arrested Purshottam and charged him with attempted murder.Man robbed
A man was stabbed and robbed of Rs 11,000 in the Badarpur area of south Delhi on Tuesday night. According to the police, the youths stabbed him when he resisted. He has sustained injuries in the chest. Copyright © 1999 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
