In the latest development four of six Independents listed by the Chief Minister for supporting her ministry tonight took a recalcitrant stand by vowing not not to extend her support during the March 17 confidence vote, unless their demands were met.

The Independents, Ramchandra Prasad Singh, Saligram Yadav and Prahlad Yadav met here at the residence of Tarkeswar Singh to take the decision.

Talking to PTI, Tarkeshwar Singh and Ramchandra Prasad Singh, MLAs from Masrak and Gurua constituencies charged the Laloo-Rabri regimes with having "hoodwinked the people of their constituencies durimg the past nine years".

"They take our support for granted in the lower house, though they have never taken care of the problems facing the people. Their ministers ignore us and do not entertain our complaints or suggestions," they said.

"We will nottolerate such an autocratic government, which take others for a ride, for their own vested interests," the MLAs said.

Tarkeswar Singh demanded that the chief minister have "a written agreement with them and ensure that the interest of Dalits and cause of social justice is looked after."

RJD president Laloo Prasad Yadav, however, said, he was unaware of the development. Rabri Devi while staking claim to form her government after revocation of President's rule, had told Governor Sundar Singh Bhandari that she had the support of 150 RJD MLAs, six revolutionary party MLAs, six Independents and one Jharkhand Peoples Party MLA in the 324-member house.

The Congress, which has announced issue based support to the RJD has 29 members.
