Aggarwal day-night contest from April 1

NEW DELHI, MARCH 10: The third edition of Lala Hari Ram Aggarwal memorial cricket tournament, one of the most popular day-night competitions in the Capital during summer months, is scheduled to be held from April 1 to May 1 at the MCD Sports Club, opposite Old Delhi Railway Station.

As many as 32 teams, including last year's winners D S Group, are expected to participate in the 30-over each side prize money tournament. The final will be 40-overs duration. Matches will be played from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Entries close with Ashok Aggarwal, president of the organising committee, on March 25. Draws of teams are expected to be finalised on March 28.

The winners will get Rs 71,000 while runners-up will receive Rs 31,000. The two losing finalists will be richer by Rs 11,000 each. In addition, there will also be `man of the match' prizes for every game.
