Title for Combined CC

CHANDIGARH, MARCH 10: Combined Cricket Club beat Eagle Cricket Club by two wickets to win the title in the six over-a-side tennis ball cricket tournament, which concluded at Panjab University Campus here today. The tournament was organised by Student organisation of Panjab University and Matriks Club.

Harun, who scored 46 runs for Combined CC, was declared the man of the match while Balraj was adjudged the best batsman of the meet.

Earlier in the semifinals, Combined Cricket Club scored four wicket win over Panther Cricket Club while Eagle Cricket Club beat KBS Club one wicket.

The semifinals were played of six overs while the final match was of 10 overs a side.

Yograj Singh, former Test player gave away the prizes to the teams.Brief Scores: Final: CCC: 108 in 8.2 overs (harun 46, Bhalinder 34, Balraj 2 for 23); ECC: 107 for 5 in 10 overs (Balraj 60, Samandeep 23, Harun 2 for 33). Semifinal: CCC: 66 in 5.5 overs (Bhalender 28 n.o.); PCC: 65 for 3 in 6 overs (Rohit 17 n.o., Bhalender 2 for 14). ECC: 65 for 5 in 6 overs (Parampreet Brar 28 n.o., Balraj 22, Karan 3 for 17); KBSC: 61 for 4 in 6 overs (Karan 20 n.o., Vikram 23).
