Class XI students get question papers with printing mistakes

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, March 17: Students of Class XI appearing for final examinations in Economics and English had a tough time with question papers because of printing mistakes.

The Economics and English papers had spelling and printing mistakes. Students spent a lot of time figuring out some of the questions. ``We informed the UT Education Department which sent persons to clarify the questions where it could not be done over phone,'' said an invigilator.

The UT Education Department has set the question papers for the Science and Commerce stream for the first time. According to District Education Officer, UT Education Department, Brahmjit Kalia, ``the errors in two question papers were corrected within 15 minutes telephonically or personally in some places where phones were not available''.
