Indo-Pak wrestling Tests

NEW DELHI:A 13-member Indian team will participate in the Qaid-E-Azam international Freestyle Wrestling Championship to be held in Karachi from March 20 to 22. Possibilities of starting a bilateral Test series will be explored during the tournament, team manager Jasram Singh said. Performance in the Nationals has been the basis of selection of the squad, he added.

Coaches: PR Sondhi and Pradeep Sharma.

Referee: Vinod Kumar.

Kabaddi, too

CHANDIGARH: A 22-member kabaddi team, led by manager and Kabaddi Federation of India general secretary JP Sharma, left for Pakistan today to participate in the third Prime Minister's International kabaddi tournament to be held at Islamabad from March 19. The other teams participating in the tournament include England and Canada.

Team: Bhupinder Singh (cap), Harjinder Kala, Jagjit Fauji, Rajwinder Raja, Balraj Baji, Lal Bataria, Sukhwant Gulu, Dilwar Khan, Darshan Bachi, Karamjit Karma, Jaswant, PammaBadasiana, Sachin Parbhakar, Amarjit Karna, Jaggi, Hardev, Gulu Matoi and Billulabheri.
