Win free air passage to World Cup

CHANDIGARH, March 17: An Inter-School creative writing competition based on the Indo-Pak friendship through the game of cricket, will jointly be organised by the Punjab Cricket Association and Yadavindra Public School, SAS Nagar.

The contest is open to students from class 8 to 12.

The essay should not be less than 350 words and should not exceed 500 words. The enevlope should be marked `Creative Writing Competition' and should reach the principal YPS SAS Nagar latest by March 23.

The student, whose essay is found to be the best among the participants will get 10 free tickets for the forthcoming Indo-Pak One Day International slated to be held on April 1, at the PCA stadium.

The winner of the second and third best essay will get five and three tickets, respectively.

The best essay will also be printed on the brochure, to be taken out on April 1.

There is `Slogan Writing Competition' which is also based on the Indo-Pak cricket friendship and is open to general public. The spectators will be allowed to exhibit their banners (slogan) during the match. The slogans will be judged by renowned TV commentators. And the best will get free air ticket for the forthcoming World Cup to be held in England.

There are also four other prizes in the fray.
