ONGC women's forum holds lectures

VADODARA, March 21: The Women's Development Forum of ONGC, Ankleshwar Project recently organised a lecture on `Women's Rights, Development of Women in Gujarat and Particularly in Bharuch' by Collector and District Magistrate of Bharuch. A lecture on personality development by Rushi Dave and another lecture by gynecologist Dr Bhavna Sheth on `Health Care' was also organised. The Women employees also participated in a workshop on `Holistic Healing' and visited CPF Gandhar and E-14-XVII Rig.

Donated: ONGC, Ankleshwar Project extended financial assistance for the construction of a crematorium `Shantidham'. Another Rs 1.25 lakhs has been voluntarily contributed by the employees of the Project from their individual salaries. ONGC is also facilitating the supply of free gas for the crematorium and purchase of a van.

Women's day: The Mahila Samiti of ONGC, Cambay Project celebrated the International Women's Day by organising a number of functions. The samiti members visited a hospital for leprosy patients, run by the Shram Mandir Trust, and donated clothes to the patients there. The Samiti also organised a sports event for Samiti members on the eve of International Women's Day.

Seminar: At the All-India Public Relations seminar conducted by PRSI on March 21, Major Vinod Krishna, Chief Manager (Corporate Communications) ONGC, New Delhi made a presentation on `Crisis Communication -ONGC a Success Story.' While members of ONGC, WRBC's Crisis Management Team participated in the seminar, Col K B Vohra, Group General Manager, Ankleshwar Project chaired the first session of the seminar and spoke on crisis management in an operational scenario.
