3 injured in accident
In a hit-and-run accident between a car and a scooter, the scooterist, Ram Sanjeevan, his wife and a three-year-old son were injured. The accident occurred near the intersection of sectors 9 and 10. The injured, who are the residents of Punjab Engineering college, have been hospitalised.Arrested
The city police have arrested a Panchkula resident Varinder Kumar and recovered 11 bottles of whiskey from his possession. A case has been registered under the Excise Act. Minor abducted
