CHANDIGARH, March 21: Fighter XI beat CNS XI by 86 runs in the Sunday Challenge cricket cup here today. Bhupinder Singh Sandhu's knock of 173 (23 fours, three sixes) was the highlight of the match.

Scores: Fighter XI: 311 for 7 in 35 overs (Bhupinder Singh Sandhu 173, Hitesh Sharma 35, H S Sodhi 30; Atul Kapoor 3-29) beat CNS XI: 225 (Rahul Panta 83, Brain 47, Praveen 19, Bedi 19; Sanjay Dhull 2-20, Vikrant Gupta 2-21, Gulab Rubani 2-26, Preet Mohan Singh 2-28).
