CHANDIGARH, March 21: An unbeaten knock by Sukhwinder Tinkoo (83) helped Godrej Cricket Club score 77 runs victory over Punjab Civil Services XI in the Chandigarh league cum-knock-out cricket tournament played at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium here today.Electing to bat, Godrej CC scored 206 in the allotted 25 overs, losing two wickets. Sukhwinder Tinkoo (83 not out) and Rajesh Patha (58 not out) were the batsmen to score for the team.
In reply, PunjabCivil Services team was bundled out for 129.
Girish Bhanot and Vijay Pal got three wickets each.
In another match Youth CricketClub beat JAL XI by six wickets. Bombay XI will take on Eleven Star andFighter XI play Falcon XI on March 27 at PGI at 8 a.m.
