Free camp on multiple sclerosis

The Multiple Sclerosis Society of India is organising a free medical camp for MS patients at Kamala Mehta School for the Blind at 160, D Phalke Road, near Tata Mills Showroom, Dadar on March 27 between 2 and 5 pm. Patients will be examined by by doctors from various faculties including neurology, ophthalmology, orthopedic, ENT, cardiology and chest physicians, gynaecology, dentistry, general check-up, nursing and management of bedsores, physio and occupational therapy and counselling. Legal literacy programme

The Justice Sunanda Bhandare Foundation and National Association for the Blind will hold a legal literacy programme for visually handicapped women from March 30 to April 26 at Sydenham College, `B' Road, Churchgate. Theprogramme, to be inaugurated at 6 pm, will include lectures on aspects of law, including the Indian legal system, legal position of women, family courts and lok adalats and rights of the disabled. VMS learning centre at Tardeo

The Victoria Memorial School For The Blind will open a centre at Tardeo in collaboration with Centre of Special Education, SNDT Women's University from June. The centre will cater to children with special needs in the age group of 6-14 years. Course for TY BCom students

Giants group of Jogeshwari has organised a free refresher course for TY BCom students at the R D National College Hall on March 27 from 10 am to 3 pm. Students have to produce ID cards for admission. Call on8389068.

Programme on asthma, allergy

A free public awareness programme on `Allergy and Asthma' will be held at the Rotary Service Centre, Juhu Tara Road, Santacruz (W) on March 28. Doctors will speak on `skin allergy', `nose allergy' and `asthma'. Contact Dr Akhil Contractor on 612 7481.
