Wealth case -- Jaya plea rejected

CHENNAI, MARCH 26: A special judge trying AIADMK supremo Jayalalitha in a corruption case for alleged amassment of unexplained wealth on Friday rejected her plea for transferring the case to some other court. Jayalalitha had sought the transfer on the ground that a controversy had been created by some observations made by judge S Sambandam about her on March 9 in a petition filed by a co-accused, J Elavarasi.
