Of the 230 members, 190 voted. Dr T P Lahane, Dr Mohan Jagade, Dr S Akarte, Dr Ashok Anand, Dr Debasish Bhattacharya, Dr V R Bhutada, Dr Sanjay Bijwe, Dr Shashank Heda, Dr K H Oswal, Dr Arun Patil, Dr Santosh Verma and Dr D R Mhasde were elected as executive committee members.

They will take up matters concerning medical teachers, including non-implementation of the Pay Commission report for medical teachers and the cut in number of public holidays for medical teachers by the Nashik-based Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
