Kashyap replaces Randhawa as SSP

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, March 26: IPS officer Ajay Kashyap joined as UT Senior Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) here today, replacing N.S. Randhawa.

The 1985-batch UT cadre officer, Kashyap, was earlier deputy commissioner of police (Central) at New Delhi. Kashyap was posted here nearly five months ago but due to certain reasons he had not joined. Randhawa, who was the first SSP (headquarters), had joined here in May, 1995. He stands relieved for Delhi now. Randhawa, who is also the 1985-batch UT cadre officer, had only recently got the selection grade with effect from January 1998.
