Anil impressive in DS Group win
A fine spell of bowling by Anil Kumar (6 for 19) and Ashish Sharma's unbeaten 39 enabled DS Group thrash Subhania by three wickets in the second Hari Singh Tyagi TYCA league at Mohan Meakin ground.

Ashish Sharma (39 not out) and Lalit Saini (30) were the principal contributors for DS Group while Vicky Dhir (24) was the most successful scorer for the losers.

Brief scores: Subhania: 89 (Vicky Dhir 24, Atul Brown 20, Anil Kumar 6 for 19, Manoj Bhatia 2 for 30) lost to DS Group: 90 for 3 (Ashish Sharma 39 not outl Lalit Saini 30, Tarun Gupta 2 for 25).

Manish excels
A quickfire knock of 68 (7x4, 5x6) by Manish Chawla and an equally fine spell by Mahendra Gupta (5 for 31) powered Ashirwad to a nine-wicket win over MCD in the fourth Maharaja Agarsen league-cum-knockout tournament at Mount Fort School ground.

Brief scores: Ashirwad: 109 for 1 (Manish Chawla 68, Kapil Mehta 32 not out) bt MCD: 107 (Ajeet Singh 22, Mahendra Gupta 5 for 31, Kapil Mehta 3 for 23).

Brij, Bhola shine
Brij Mohan's 76 and unbeaten 63 by skipper Bhola Shanker helped Keshav Puram crush Dynamic Club (Ghaziabad) by nine wickets in a super league match of the President's Estate Cricket tournament at Mohan Nagar.

Brief scores: Dynamic: 152 (Kailash Bahuguna 34. SK Chopra 24, Gaurav Talwar 3 for 22, Ashwini Kanojia 3 for 40, Sanjay Gupta 2 for 3) lost to Keshav Puram: 153 for 1 (Brij Mohan 76, Bhola Shanker 63 not out).

Sonnet triumph
Sonnet Club prevailed over Evergreen by seven wickets to reach the quarter-final of the ninth Nawab Tournament at Telephone Exchange ground (Yamuna Vihar).

In another encounter, Pradeep Shastri's 73 and 60 by Safdar Qauim enabled Rex Remedies XI beat Ramjas Sports by a huge margin of 119 runs.

Brief scores: Evergreen: 113 (Nasir Malik 31, Manish Kumar 29, Vijay Walia 3 for 14, Rohit Mehra 3 for 8) lost to Sonnet: 114 for 3 (Jaideep Gill 47, Shikhar Dhawan 24, Nasil Malik 2 for 21). Golf Resort
The Classic Golf Resort (an ITC subsidiary) will organise Ford Men's Member Guest Golf gala on March 27 and 28 at its premises located on Dehi-Jaipur highway. The tee off time will be 9 am on March 27 and 10 am on March 28.

Evergreen meet
The Evergreen Club will organise the first Evergreen cricket tournament from April 7 at Parmarth Hospital ground (near Pitam Pura Club). Pal Singh tourney
The United Cricket Club will organise the seventh Pal Singh memorial cricket tournament from April 17 at Khalsa College ground.
