Two admitted to hospital
One Ramjan Sheikh, 28, a resident of Padra taluka's Unchi Pol area, was rushed to the SSG Hospital on Tuesday after he consumed acid over a petty family dispute, the police said, adding that the matter was being investigated. In another case, 35-year-old Pramila Raval, a resident of Sarbhan village in Amod taluka was critically injured and rushed to SSG Hospital after she sustained burns while cooking, the police said.House-break

The city police arrrested two notorious criminals and bootleggers and sent them to Ahmedabad jail, an official release said on Tuesday. The accused Devi Panchal, a resident of Shyamnagar area and Kapila Rathod of Manjalpur areas were held under Prevention of Anti-Social Activities (PASA) Act after they were found repeatedly indulging in anti-social activities.
