One student, Mehul Lakhani, who comes to study in this library regularly, said, ``We have been coming to this library but there was no provision of proper drinking water facilities here.'' Lakhani added that the students had been complaining about the poor conditions of the library to the in-charge of the Sayajirao Memorial Library. Lakhani added that repeated pleas to officials had had little effect.

The students submitted a memorandum to the Officer on Special Duty, M K R Naidu of the H M Library. The students meanwhile have been assured by Naidu that their grievances would be looked into and the cooler would be repaired within the next two days.
