`Anti-employee' policies resented

PATIALA, April 1: The Punjab State Karamchari Dal today organised a rally at Rajpura against the anti-employees policies followed by the state government.

State general secretary of the dal Kulbir Singh Saidkheri, while criticising the anti-employees policies of the state government, appealed to it to withdraw its anti-employees decision and to provide relief to the employees. He appealed to the government to order regularisation of the services of daily wagers, release of Anonmalies' Committee's report and reinstatement of leave-travel concession which was banned for a year, to its employees.

Others who spoke on the occasion include Kuldeep Singh, president Sewerage Board Employees Union, Rajpura, Gurdyal Singh, Sukhpal Singh, Raj Kumar president of Municipal Council Rajpura's Employees Union. Gurmeet Singh Kulwinder Singh, Vijay Kumar and Jaspal Singh also appealed to the government to lift the ban on fresh recruitment in the state. They also appealed to the state government to order reinstatement of relieved teachers, acceptance of demands of revenue patwaries etc.
