MUMBAI, APRIL 2: A delegation of vice-chancellors and registrars from eight Universities of Russia, headed by Boris Tchaktchir, Registrar on International Contacts, St. Petersburg State Chemico-Pharmaceutical Academy, will visit India from April 8 to 16 to participate in educational fairs to be held in Vadodara and Mumbai.The delegation represents some of the top educational institutions including St. Petersburg State University of Technology and Design, Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics, Riga University of Aviation and St Petersburg State Architecture Construction University. The varsity will hold a meeting with the dignitaries at Kalina on April 13 from 12 to 4 pm.
The concluding session of all these meetings will be held at the Cultural Centre of Russia on Pedder Road on April 14 from 10 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The prime disciplines are: Courses in Russian, followed by specialised fields like civil aviation, mechanical engineering, radio-electronics andcomputing systems, economics, textile-technology, chemical technology and equipment for dyeing and finishing, garment-construction, leather & footware technology, economics and management, management of external economic relations, accounting, recordings and reproductions, photography and technology of recording, civil engineering, engineering and ecological systems, automobile engineering & statistics and econometrics.
