Kids carnival concludes

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, April 4: The three-day kids carnival at the Sector 17 Parade Ground concluded today. Organised at a period of time when one session is over and the next is yet to begin, the carnival gave the city children another opportunity to indulge in fun and frolic.

Organised by the Karsun's in an attempt to bring the children and their parents together, it aimed at providing real life environments. Based on various themes -- a jungle jamboree, seaside surprises and European ecstasy -- it somehow fell shot of promises. A senior marketing executive explained that due to their previous show at Ludhiana, they had faced much difficulty in getting the lost and broken items replaced in a short span of three days.

However, yesterday evening, the kids thronged the Titanic, a replica of the ship acting as a dance floor for the children.

Various company-sponsored prizes were being offered to the children for trying their luck at the games.
