ASSOCIATED PRESS
KUALA LUMPUR, APRIL 4: Germany today defeated New Zealand 3-0 to stay unbeaten in the Ninth Sultan Azlan Shah Cup tournament at the National Hockey Stadium in Malaysia.

Germany, who came from behind to beat South Korea 4-3 on Friday, started off cautiously, but Sascha Reinelt fired the team's opening goal in the 18th minute for the only score in the first half.

Germany'S Benjamin Kopp scored the second goal in the 45th minute thanks to a penalty corner rebound. Christian Wein scored the final goal in the 68th minute.

Germany will meet Malaysia tomorrow while New Zealand takes on Pakistan. Pakistan have scored convincing 6-2 and 6-2 wins against Canada and South Korea respectively, but are yet to win this tournament.
