EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
NEW DELHI, April 5: Four of a family received burn injuries on Monday, when a gas cylindeer in their NIT area house in Faridabad caught fire. According to the police, the incident occurred when nine-year-old Bobby went to light the stove. As soon as he lit the match, the cylinder exploded and he was engulfed in flames. In an effort to rescue the boy, his father Bhagat Ram, wife Basant Kaur and 12-year-old son Om Prakash also received burn injuries.

Burglars foiled
On March 28, two men fleeing after a burglary were apprehended by the public in New Friends Colony. Riyaz Ali and Akram fired at the crowd as they tried to escape. But the two never made their getaway. The duo reportedly confessed to another burglary in the same area a couple of days earlier.
