Siemens to implement SAP at Sudarshan Chemicals

PUNE, April 7: Siemens Information Systems Limited (SISL), the largest implementor of SAP R/3 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software in India will implement SAP R/3 at Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited. SISL will implement these modules across the three manufacturing locations of the company in a period of ten months.

Sudarshan Chemical Industries has purchased a 100 user 'SAP R/3 TM licence. In addition to the SISL, SAP R/3 TM implementation project, the scope also includes networking and implementation.Director of SISL, A S Vishwanathan, said with the experience of more than 26 implementations and working with a variety of organisations in the last four years, SISL is poised to not only handle large implementation in India and abroad but also provide cost-effective turnkey solutions to specific industry segments and verticals. Pradeep Rathi, director of Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd said that they were looking out for an implementation partner, who would bring rich experience in actual implementation of projects in India to enable them to complete their implementation within the specified time and budget.

The scope and implementation of SISL will include materials management, production planning for process industries, sales and distribution, finance, controlling,quality management, plant maintenance and treasury modules of SAP R/3 TM.
