EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
Two injured in accidents
Two persons were injured in two separate road accidents here. In a hit and run case, Mukesh Kumar, residing in Sector 40, was injured when he was hit by a Maruti car on the road dividing sectors 45 and 46. In another case, a resident of S.A.S. Nagar's Parol village, Jasbir Kaur, was hospitalised after she was injured when her scooter reportedly hit a pedestrian. The accident occurred in Khuda Lahora village.

Amplifiers stolen
The police have registered a case of theft of seven amplifiers. According to complaints lodged by Anish Gaba and B. N. Katnala, six of these amplifiers were installed in Industrial Area while one was pilfered from Sector 27.

Motor-cycle lifted
One Jaspreet Singh has reported to the police that his Yamaha motor-cycle bearing registration number RJ-13-1M-8417 was stolen from Punjab University Hostel Number 4. The police have registered a case.
