EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, April 7: Lawyers for Social Reforms, a local body of the lawyers, today gave a representation to Inspector General of Police Kiran Bedi requesting her keep `tainted' policemen, those charged with corruption or against whom departmental proceedings are going on, off posts related to public dealings.

They added that the policemen should be made very clear about their duties. They also urged the IGP to check the rising incidents of harassment of girls. The representation was made by about 25 lawyers.
