Khalsa March from Amb Sahib Gurdwara today

SAS NAGAR, April 11: A march of Sikh devotees will begin from Gurdwara Amb Sahib in Phase 8, at 9 a.m. tomorrow to take part in the ongoing tercentanary celebrations at Anandpur Sahib. It will join up with similar groups coming from Delhi, Bathinda, Amritsar at Gurdwara Katalgarh Sahib near Morinda. The massive march will then proceed to Anandpur Sahib.According to Hardeep Singh SGPC member from Mohali, a large number of the Sikh devotees from the township will form the part of the Khalsa March including different Sikh societies and Akali Jathas. Transport for the devotees has been arranged. He criticised the government for not abiding with the tenets of ``Miri and Piri''. He called for safeguarding Sikh heritage and principles and to join hands with those Panthic leaders who have stood the test of time like Gurcharan Singh Tohra.
